At RCS there is something for everyone! Based in the heart of Glasgow’s vibrant city centre, we have 5 performance spaces, hosting over 500 events a year, across Classical Music, Drama, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Traditional Music and Ballet. Performance is the Conservatoire environment!

Parking information
There are multi-storey car parking facilities at Cambridge Street, Concert Square, Dundasvale & Buchanan Galleries. There is no parking on Renfrew Street & Hope Street between 8am - 6pm. But there are Pay & Display bays on Renfrew Street.

Bus/Tram information
The central bus station at Buchanan Street is just five minutes walk from Renfrew Street. The following bus services stop outside the Royal Conservatoire on Hope Street: 20, 23, 23A, 41, 50, 54, 55, 66, 75, 801 and 803.
The nearest subway station is Cowcaddens.

Wheelchair Access

There is level access to the ground floor of the Royal Conservatoire at the main entrance on Renfrew Street and the Hope Street entrance. Accessible lifts serve all floors. Wheelchair spaces are provided in all venues and can be booked through the Box Office.Tel: 0141 332 5057


Accessible unisex toilets with emergency call buttons are available on the ground floor and first floor

Induction Loop

All our venues are fitted with an induction loop. Patrons who are hard of hearing and fitted with a hearing aid should use their T-switch.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs. The lift to all floors has a voice announcement.
