    Monday 19th Aug, 7.30pm
Inspired by real events, this new dance-theatre piece tells the story of a mysterious illness that infects a group of young women in small-town America. As the girls and their families search for a diagnosis to their strange affliction, they come face to face with their personal and collective demons. Drawing on the conventions and tropes of true crime podcasts, documentary and horror movies, this thrilling show mixes dance, video and text to interrogate how a community deals with abnormality in its midst. www.madeinscotlandshowcase.com

    Friday 23rd Aug, 8.45pm
Miscommunication and confusion are often things to be avoided, but what if you just lay into them? What if there's actually nothing else? Big questions. Existential meanderings. Don't worry. I have a PowerPoint. Phrases exists in a kind of ethereal space. Projections of stream-of-consciousness writing are paired with often improvised movement and discussions of communication to create a subtly humorous yet unnerving piece. Generally, the piece expresses some kind of solidarity with the anxious and the confused and those who overthink.

The Eradication of Schizophrenia in Western Lapland is informed by a treatment for psychosis that has seen amazing results in Western Lapland. The audience is divided in two while sections of the play run concurrently on either side of a wall. It is only in Act Two, when the audiences switch sides, that the full story is revealed. This innovative staging offers visitors a unique and three-dimensional insight into what it is to be psychotic.

Theatre legends Jon Haynes and David Woods of Ridiculusmus are back with Give Me Your Love, a funny and profound fable informed by groundbreaking research. Ex-soldier Zach has withdrawn into a cardboard box in a kitchen in West Wales. His friend Leuan arrives offering recovery – in the form of a capsule containing 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine. Parachuted into their recently fractured pasts, Zach and Leuan swing between dreamboat heroism and woozy enlightenment via a head-warping exchange on patriotism, conflict and supermarket shopping that will tickle, move and appal you in equal measure.
